About this project

This project started as a dim, dated porch closed off from the rest of the home — dark wood paneling, an aging drop ceiling, and finishes that made the space feel like an afterthought.

We took it down to the framing, re-insulated, and rebuilt it with painted shiplap walls, a bright ceiling, and updated lighting. The result is a comfortable, light-filled room that now gets used every day, with a wall of windows looking out over the yard.
